Seasonal Produce

Eating seasonal produce has benefits over non season.  When foods are grown out of season, they can’t follow the correct steps of growing and ripening.  In season it has more nutrients, cropped at its peak giving it a better taste and flavor. At heritage farmers market you will see a variety of produce throughout the year based on the season. We are quickly approaching summer and new produce is slowly coming in.
